Hougton Mansion, North Adams, MA

Quiet Hour Paranormal did an investigation of the Houghton Mansion located in North Adams. We had the opportunity to investigate not only the mansion itself but the Freemason temple that was built as an addition in the 1920's when ownership passed over to them. Many inexplicable noises were heard: Tappings, knockings, bangings, disembodied voices and rustling sounds. These are a few of the recordings I captured in Mr. Houghton's bedroom.

Odd noise then woman's whisper

You can hear two women and a man talking in the foreground, then an odd whooping noise followed by a clear whisper comes through.

A greeting

Someone decided to say knock three times then say hello, and it sounds like a male.

Someone found us quite amusing in the basement.....

In the basement, a spirit was shutting a flashlight on and off at our request. She also responded with a whisper here: "Two...woman" when we asked her to blink once for a man, two if for a woman.

In the Temple, someone answered our request to knock. Not just two knocks, but three.
